HGV Class 2 Trade Waste Driver – Aylesbury

We are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver to join a busy environmental services team based in Aylesbury (HP19).

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified Class 2 drivers looking to gain experience in the waste and recycling sector. The role offers a minimum 12‑week assignment with the potential to become permanent.

• Drive a Rear Wheel Steer Refuse Collection Vehicle (approximately 25 tonnes).
• Complete scheduled refuse collection routes safely and efficiently.
• Work as part of a two‑person crew alongside a loader.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Follow all road transport legislation and health and safety procedures.
• Deliver a professional and reliable service throughout your route.

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply.
• Ability to pass a driving assessment.
• Reliable, punctual and safety‑conscious.
• Comfortable working as part of a team.

• £14.50 per hour (PAYE).
• Weekly pay.
• Monday to Friday working pattern.
• No regular weekend work.
• Minimum 12‑week assignment.
• Potential temp‑to‑perm opportunity.
• Full assessment and ongoing support.
