Our client, a reputable franchise main dealer in Maidstone, Kent, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join their established service team. Basic salary up to £42,000, dependent on experience
Uncapped OTE of £60,000+
Monday to Friday working hours, 08:00 – 17:00, with 30 minutes lunch
One in three Saturdays, 08:30 – 14:00

Duties of the MOT Technician:

Conducting servicing, diagnosis, and repairs to a high standard
Communicating effectively with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control
Providing technical advice to customers when required
Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge
Ensuring high levels of customer service, contributing to customer loyalty
Upholding excellent housekeeping and workshop standards
Maintaining accurate records of work undertaken

Requirements of the MOT Technician:

Previous automotive repair experience
NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent
Level 2 qualifications considered under certain circumstances
Current MOT licence
Friendly, approachable personality with strong organisational skills
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure as the MOT Technician
Attention to detail and quality awareness
Full UK driving licence
