Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester  Maidstone

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, MOT Tester, Automotive Technician or Motor Vehicle Technician to join a busy dealership workshop in Maidstone. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, hold a current MOT Tester Licence, have strong workshop experience, a Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK.

Salary:  £35,000+ basic depending on experience + bonus, OTE: £60,000, uncapped
Welcome Bonus:  £2,500 for eligible Level 3 qualified Technicians

Hours:

44.5 hours per week, including 1 in 3 Saturdays

Vehicle Technician Role   Carry out vehicle servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards
Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs accurately
Inspect components for wear, damage and replacement requirements
Carry out MOT testing in line with current standards
Work closely with Service Advisors and Workshop Control to maintain workflow
Meet workshop efficiency targets without compromising quality
Support other Technicians and contribute to a productive workshop environment
Vehicle Technician Requirements   Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent  essential
Current MOT Tester Licence  essential
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, MOT Tester, Automotive Technician or Mechanic
Strong servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repair experience
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards
Strong attention to detail and good teamwork skills
Full UK Driving Licence
Right to work in the UK
