The Role
You will carry out detailed design work on projects ranging from small modifications to large-scale installations, and support the delivery team in meeting project deadlines. The role combines design work with hands-on site activity: you will travel to client sites across the UK to carry out surveys, then turn that information into accurate 2D and 3D technical designs and drawings.
Key Responsibilities

Produce 2D detailed design drawings ready for construction
Undertake site surveys at client locations across the UK
Provide technical support to the delivery team so activity deadlines are met
Make sure designs meet client needs, quality standards and budget constraints
Follow common data environment (CDE) procedures for document control and collaboration
Essential Requirements
Educated to HNC level or above in a relevant discipline
Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Plant 3D, with Inventor experience desirable
Experience in industrial design, including 3D modelling of buildings, pipework and supports, equipment, and bespoke industrial structures or units
Proven experience producing construction-ready 2D detail drawings
Able to work both as part of a team and on your own initiative
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
Full UK driving licence
Valid passport
Desirable
Knowledge of BIM processes
Confidence working within a common data environment
Experience across the wider Autodesk product range
What's on Offer
Salary of up to £50,000, depending on experience
Varied project work across a range of industrial sectors
Practical site exposure alongside design work
The chance to work within a supportive multidisciplinary engineering team
