Purchaser Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 5:00pm Permanent | Full-Time

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Purchaser to join a well‑established, family‑run manufacturing business with over 35 years of success. Operating as a leading supplier of specialist cleaning chemicals and PPE, the company has built a strong reputation for quality, innovation and exceptional customer service.

This is a standalone purchasing role offering genuine autonomy and the chance to make a real commercial impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end‑to‑end purchasing function, working with a network of over 300 suppliers and overseeing a product range of more than 1,000 SKUs.

Key responsibilities include supplier negotiation, relationship management, stock analysis, purchasing through Sage 200 (including MRP), identifying cost‑saving opportunities, and working closely with production and other internal departments to ensure materials are available to meet business demands.

• Previous purchasing or procurement experience.
• Experience with in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred).
• Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Sage 200 experience would be advantageous).
• Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage a standalone purchasing function.
