Monday - Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm – Permanent, Full‑Time.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced buyer to join a well‑established, family‑run manufacturing business with over 35 years of success. Operating as a leading supplier of specialist cleaning chemicals and PPE, the company has built a strong reputation for quality, innovation and exceptional customer service.

This is a standalone buyer role offering genuine autonomy and the chance to make a real commercial impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end‑to‑end buyer/buying function, working with a network of over 300 suppliers and overseeing a product range of more than 1,000 SKUs.

• Supplier negotiation and relationship management.
• Stock analysis and purchasing through Sage 200 (including MRP).
• Identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Working closely with production and other internal departments to ensure materials are available to meet business demands.

• Previous buyer/buying or procurement experience.
• Experience with in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred).
• Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Sage 200 experience would be advantageous).
• Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage a standalone purchasing function.
