Introduction

Start your career in international business while earning your degree. You’ll work with customers and colleagues around the world, learn how global supply chains really work and build a career in international logistics - with future opportunities for overseas secondments and leadership roles.

About the Employer

CCT Worldwide is an international logistics and supply chain business, helping companies move products around the world by sea, air, road and rail.

Our UK operation is the global headquarters of the CCT Worldwide group, with businesses and colleagues across Europe and Asia. From international transportation to warehousing, fulfilment and supply chain management, we help businesses get their products where they need to be.

As a Degree Apprentice, you’ll become part of that international network from the beginning of your career.

Why choose CCT?

Earn a salary. Earn a degree. Build an international career.

Instead of choosing between university and starting work, our Degree Apprenticeship gives you both. You’ll gain a university degree alongside years of professional experience, work with people around the world and have the opportunity to build your career within an international business.
We’re interested in what makes you, you. Alongside your academic achievements, tell us about your interests, part-time work, volunteering, sport, clubs, travel, responsibilities or other experiences that demonstrate your initiative, teamwork, communication skills or ambition. Formal awards aren’t essential.
Recruitment Process involves Two-stage interviews. The first interview is an opportunity for us to get to know you and for you to learn more about CCT and the apprenticeship.
Successful applicants will progress to a second interview with our management team. No previous logistics experience is expected – we’re looking for potential, enthusiasm and ambition.

What You'll Do
  • Work with CCT colleagues across Asia and our international office network, gaining first-hand experience of global business
  • Build relationships with UK customers and keep them updated as their shipments travel around the world
  • Help plan cost-effective ocean freight solutions and present recommendations to customers and colleagues
  • Learn how international shipments are managed from origin through to final delivery
  • Work alongside experienced logistics professionals and take part in team and departmental meetings
  • As your knowledge develops, take on increasing responsibility for customers, shipments and commercial decisions
Training Outcome

This apprenticeship is designed as the start of a long-term career with CCT. After completing your degree, you’ll be a qualified logistics professional with several years of real-world experience already behind you.

As your career develops, opportunities may include progression into management and leadership positions, as well as international secondments within CCT’s global network.
