Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores.
Responsibilities- Operating machinery
- Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
- In‑store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies.
- Working outside to keep trolley bays clean and free of leaves and debris.
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are applied.
- Other duties as required.
An eye for detail and cleanliness, and a positive attitude to cleaning and customer service, are required. Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as on‑the‑job training will be supplied.
Job DetailsWe’re looking to recruit a part‑time In‑Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury’s Larkfield store on a fixed‑term basis until 17 August 2026. The position is 21 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21. Immediate start is available. Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and Arcus offers various shift patterns with 5‑ and 6‑day working available. The current shift pattern for this role is as follows:
- Sunday: 06:00 to 09:30
- Monday: 06:00 to 10:00
- Tuesday:
Day off - Wednesday: 06:00 to 09:30
- Thursday: 06:00 to 10:00
- Friday: 06:00 to 09:00
- Saturday: 06:00 to 09:00
There is also an opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.
