Basic Salary: £48,000 (4 on / 4 off Days, 6am-6pm)

Job Description

You'll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy goods vehicles and trailers across a large retail fleet. Key duties include:

Completing servicing, inspections and general repairs
Diagnosing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults
Preparing vehicles for MOT testing
Carrying out welding, fabrication and workshop equipment use
Supporting apprentices and maintaining accurate job records Requirements

NVQ Level 3 in HGV Maintenance or equivalent experience
Proven background as an HGV Technician
Valid Class 1 licence
Confident using diagnostic equipment and workshop tools
Strong communication skills and a team‑focused approach

Training & Development

Technicians have access to additional training including IRTEC, LOLER/Weight Testing, BPW, Operator Licence Awareness, Deck Training and FLT qualifications.
