Warehouse Operative (Night Shift)
Shift: 10pm - 6am, Sunday – Thursday
Contract: Fixed-Term until 30 April 2026
Location: Aylesford, Kent
Retained Bonus: £500 at end of contract
Premium: Night shift premium offered
Other: Temporary work on days until training is completed

Responsibilities- Maintain a high level of tidiness in the warehouse area and yard, removing hazards or obstructions according to procedure.
- Complete daily tasks including dispatch, incoming goods, finished goods prep, production picking.
- Assist with production daily requirements and preparation of bulk and part goods for production.
- Follow instructions from the WH Supervisor & Team Leader.
- Ensure daily FLT checks are complete, documented and report defects.
- Complete all other warehouse checks as per rota.
- Arrange disposal of production waste.
- Assist with sampling room requirements.
- Liaise with Customer Support and outside transport providers to ensure smooth dispatch of customer orders.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks requested by WH Supervisor, Team Leader or Production Supervisor.
- Work safely and adhere to all safety requirements.
- Experience with warehouse equipment (reach and counterbalance trucks up to 1600kg, pallet trucks).
- Relevant warehouse environment experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and lift heavy objects up to 25kg.
- Understanding of safety protocols and willingness to follow company policies.
- Efficient prioritisation of tasks to meet deadlines.
- Ability to learn and operate in-house computer system.
- Team player, supportive within the department and organisation.
