Our Client is seeking a motivated Junior CNC Machinist to join their growing workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a basic engineering or CNC background who is looking to develop their skills in a supportive and progressive environment.

Working alongside experienced machinists, you will gain hands‑on experience setting, operating, and eventually programming CNC lathes and mills, producing high‑quality precision components.

• Set and operate CNC lathes and milling machines
• Load and run CNC programs, making basic offsets and adjustments
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Measure and inspect components to ensure accuracy and quality
• Ensure all work meets required quality and safety standards
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
• Work collaboratively with the wider workshop team

• Some experience or training in CNC machining, ideally with a focus on turning
• Basic understanding of CNC controls (Fanuc knowledge desirable but not essential)
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• Engineering qualification, apprenticeship, or relevant hands‑on experience
