About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and coordinate day-to-day warehouse operations. The successful candidate will ensure safe, efficient handling of goods, maintain inventory accuracy, and manage a team to meet operational targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
  • Supervise and develop warehouse staff, including scheduling, training and performance management
  • Ensure safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment; maintain licensing and training records
  • Implement and enforce health & safety procedures and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Maintain accurate inventory control using warehouse management systems and regular cycle counts
  • Monitor and report on KPIs (turnaround times, accuracy, productivity, stock levels) and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate with transport, procurement and customer service to meet delivery schedules and service levels
  • Oversee maintenance of warehouse facilities, equipment and PPE
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven management experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Valid forklift certification and demonstrable experience in safe forklift operation
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills with experience supervising teams
  • Good understanding of inventory control practices and warehouse management systems
  • Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment and flexible with shift patterns where required
  • Strong focus on health & safety and regulatory compliance
  • Experience with lean / continuous improvement methodologies
  • Forklift training instructor experience or ability to train staff in forklift operation
