Job Description

We are seeking friendly, professional dental receptionist to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors and patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a compassionate attitude. Duties
  • Greet visitors and patients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Manage appointment bookings and patient check-ins efficiently
  • Answer phone calls promptly and direct enquiries appropriately
  • Maintain accurate records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and organising schedules
  • Provide information about services offered and support patients with their needs
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary materials
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in patient care or healthcare settings
  • Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic IT skills, including familiarity with scheduling software and data entry programmes
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude towards patients and visitors
  • Good organisational skills to prioritise duties effectively
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
