Position

Discharge Database Facilitator – University Hospital Ayr (permanent).

Hours

36.00 hours per week.

From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full‑time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part‑time staff) without loss of earnings.

Responsibilities

You will provide a full range of administrative services supporting the work streams being taken forward within Acute Services and Patient Flow and be an integral part of the Integrated Discharge Hub.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Extensive experience using computer programmes such as Word, Excel and ability to navigate and update electronic systems such as PMS and Complex Discharge Planner.
  • Confidence in using Business Intelligence Data and compiling reports.
  • Awareness of both the patient journey and patient flow.
  • Ability to demonstrate coordinating and organisational skills in the Site Operational Hub and Integrated Discharge Hub.
  • Knowledge and confidence in liaising with the wider multi‑disciplinary team and Health and Social Care Partners.
  • Experience in an administrative role.
  • Educated to SVQ Level III in Business / Office Administration or equivalent experience.
