Salary up to £48,000 + Benefits | Hybrid & Flexible Working

We are working with a growing UK accountancy and advisory firm to recruit an Insolvency Assistant Manager for its Glasgow team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Insolvency Administrator looking to step up, or an existing Assistant Manager who wants greater responsibility, exposure to more complex work and genuine long‑term progression.

The role

Working closely with Directors and senior management, you’ll take responsibility for your own portfolio of corporate insolvency cases while supporting assignments from the initial pre‑appointment stages through to appointment and subsequent investigations and reporting.

Your portfolio will include a varied mix of:

  • MVLs and CVLs
  • Court liquidations
  • Administrations
  • Complex sequestrations

You’ll have the autonomy to plan and progress cases, liaise directly with directors, secured creditors, solicitors and other stakeholders, and identify opportunities to maximise asset realisations. You’ll also play an important role within the wider team, reviewing work and supervising, mentoring and developing junior colleagues, while gaining exposure to business development activity.

What we’re looking for

You’ll already have solid corporate insolvency experience gained within an accountancy or insolvency practice, most likely operating at Senior Administrator or Assistant Manager level.

Ideally, you’ll be CPI, CA, ACCA or ACA qualified, with experience managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases.

More importantly, you’ll be organised, commercially aware and confident taking ownership of your work and dealing directly with clients and stakeholders.

Why consider it?

The firm is continuing to grow its presence in Scotland and can offer excellent scope to develop alongside that growth.

You’ll receive first‑class training, support towards JIEB if desired, genuine career progression and hybrid/flexible working arrangements.
