Senior Developer

Position

Senior Developer (Digital Services – Ailsa Hospital). Permanent.

Monday to Thursday: 9am – 5pm
Friday: 10:30am – 5pm (potential change to another day if required). Full‑time hours will be 36 hours per week from 1 Apr 2026.

UK driving licence is essential. Right to work in the United Kingdom is required. Visa sponsorship may be available for eligible posts.

• Guide a team of developers to deliver innovative, high‑quality digital solutions that support the organisation’s strategic objectives.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of digital systems and applications – planning, development, implementation and ongoing maintenance.
• Provide technical oversight and direction, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and meet required standards.

• Advanced knowledge of digital systems and applications across the entire development lifecycle.
• Ability to deliver innovative solutions and understand how development contributes to strategic organisational goals.
• Experience engaging with operational teams to gather requirements, coordinate development activities and ensure solutions meet user and organisational needs.
• Track record of contributing to service or system redesign initiatives that improve digital services in line with organisational goals.
