Learning Support Assistant Secondary School Braintree ASAP Start A welcoming secondary school in Braintree is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team on a temporary basis, starting ASAP . This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced LSA or someone with a strong background working with young people to make a genuine difference to pupils' learning, confidence and progress.

The successful LSA will work closely with teachers and the wider pastoral team to provide tailored support to pupils who may require additional help with their learning, behaviour or engagement.

The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Provide one-to-one and small-group support to secondary-aged pupils Support pupils with their learning across a range of subjects Help pupils overcome barriers to learning and develop their confidence Work closely with class teachers to adapt activities and resources where required Support pupils who may have additional learning or behavioural needs Encourage positive behaviour, independence and engagement in lessons Assist pupils with developing their organisational and study skills Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff and pastoral teams Monitor pupils' progress and provide feedback to relevant staff What the School is Looking For The ideal LSA will:
