Finance Manager

Location: Ayr Central

We are actively recruiting a Finance Manager for an established UK business which has a site near to the Penrith area in Cumbria. The role is a full time permanent Monday to Friday position - office based. The role is to manage the day to day financial operations of the site and support management.

Key Duties:

Ensure all financial reporting, statutory returns and government returns are accurate Purchase ledger duties - process supplier invoices and payments Reconcile supplier accounts Credit control duties and reporting Reconcile customer accounts Daily bank reconciliations Control cash position and cash forecast Balance sheet reconciliation Monthly management reports Financial and non-financial analysis Prepare and submit VAT returns Process monthly payroll HMRC returns Management of a small team Suitable candidates will possess strong ledger, bookkeeping and accounting skills who can add their value and grow in to this role.

Being able to liaise with internal colleagues is important as is some commercial acumen. Candidates can be qualified AAT, part qualified or qualified by experience.
