Service Lead - Destination South Ayrshire

Overall responsibility for shaping the strategic direction of the Council's culture, tourism and events provision and driving transformational change by promoting a positive organisational culture of empowerment, innovation, and change.

Develop and deliver strategic plans that lead and manage a range of high-quality services ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency. The specific areas of responsibility will be determined by the Council's priorities and may change from time to time.

This is a politically restricted post in terms of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (LGHA).

The work style for this post is Hybrid Worker. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly between home and the office and the frequency for attending the office may vary depending on the exigencies of the service.
