South Ayrshire Council is seeking a Waste Awareness Officer to assist the Waste Management Strategy Team Leader and help meet targets set out in the Area Waste Plan and National Waste Plan. This role will deliver a two-year Food Recycling project aimed at increasing participation across South Ayrshire.
The post is based at Walker Road Operations Depot, Ayr, with a Monday–Thursday 08:45–16:45 pattern and Friday 08:45–16:00, with some weekend work and early starts to support current projects;
