Glebe House Care Home is a privately owned residence nestled in the beautiful and tranquil surroundings of East Ayrshire. We provide personalised Nursing and Residential care for up to 46 residents, offering a warm, supportive environment where comfort, dignity, and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. With a strong rating of 9.9 and Care Inspectorate grades of 5, 4, 5, 4, and 4, we are proud to deliver consistently high standards of compassionate, person-centred care.

- Lead and coordinate the care team to ensure all staff contribute to the smooth running of the home and create the right atmosphere.
- Assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting and mobility, prioritising their dignity and independence.
- Oversee the ordering, administration and documentation of medication, maintaining accurate records.
- Engage with residents, families, healthcare professionals and team members to ensure clear, compassionate communication.
- Foster a team ethos, respecting diversity and promoting a supportive environment for all staff.
- Welcome visitors and show prospective residents and families around the home’s facilities.
- Respond promptly to emergency call bells, assess situations and provide or call for assistance as needed.
- Write and update care plans, risk assessments and case notes, ensuring they reflect residents’ needs and wishes.
- Participate in staff meetings, training and e-learning, taking responsibility for your own growth and development.
- Be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety policies, including COSHH, and escalates concerns to management.
- SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or working towards it is essential. We also welcome applications from experienced Care Assistants actively working towards their Level 3.
- Practical Medication Administration competencies are required.
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team, delegating tasks effectively while maintaining a supportive environment.
