Full Time (38.5 hours per week)
Salary: £12.70 per hour

- Empower Independence: Assist residents with their daily routines, from getting dressed to staying active, while encouraging them to make positive choices and remain as independent as possible.
- Personalised Care: Follow and support each resident’s personalised care plan, providing hands‑on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
- Health and Well‑being: Monitor residents’ health, communicating concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and assisting with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
- Champion Dignity: Uphold dignity and respect for each resident, ensuring they feel valued and cared for in every interaction.
- Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
- Safety and Comfort: Work with housekeepers to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, and respond quickly to emergencies or call bells.
- Nutritional Support: Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
- Spread Smiles: Bring joy to residents’ lives and make them smile every day.
- Qualifications: SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care preferred.
- Experience: At least 6 months as a Care Assistant is ideal, but passion and transferable skills are welcome.
- Passion: Genuine interest in caring for the elderly and commitment to delivering excellent service.
