Clinical Lead Physiotherapist

The Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled and confident Physiotherapist to take on a senior clinical and leadership position within our Urgent Care Response and Intermediate Care Teams. You’ll be responsible for day‑to‑day team operations, caseload oversight, staff support, and the delivery of expert rehabilitation for patients with complex needs.
What You’ll Be Doing- Providing specialist assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation for complex cases
- Overseeing physiotherapy staff, caseloads, and resources
- Supporting and deputising for senior managers as required
- Contributing to service development, clinical standards, and evidence‑based practice
- Supporting and developing colleagues through supervision, mentoring, and training
- Ensuring compliance with documentation, governance, audit and CQC requirements
- Physiotherapy degree and HCPC registration
- CSP membership
- Experience in Urgent Care Response and/or Intermediate Care
- Strong clinical experience working with complex rehabilitation and Older Adults
- Experience supporting or supervising junior staff
- Excellent communication, organisation, and clinical reasoning
- Confident with IT systems and digital documentation
- Committed to professional development and evidence‑based practice
- MSc in management/leadership (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in service development or policy implementation
- Experience delivering training or presenting at conferences
