Audiologist - Ayrshire

We are looking for audiologists to work in a permanent role based in Ayrshire

The candidate would need to be comfortable working as the sole Audiologist in that branch

Strong commercial background in private audiology needed.

Need to be RHAD on HCPC.

Full-time or part-time considered.

Basic salary, car allowance, commission scheme.

Base salary is £35k with £5k car allowance and an excellent commission scheme

Commission scheme is competitive and is based on hearing aid sales within a month

We are currently recruiting for an Audiologist to support our branches across Ayrshire including Ayr , Saltcoats , Troon , and surrounding. This position is available on a full time or part time basis.

The right candidate must be:

• A qualified Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser and have a valid driving licence
• Able to demonstrate an aptitude for working as a team member in promoting Hearing Care within an Optical environment
• Passionate about providing high quality care
• Enthusiastic for working in a fast-paced environment
• Carrying out examinations of patient's ears to determine the health of the outer and inner ear
• Carrying out hearing assessments to determine the possible need for hearing correction
• Carrying out wax removals as required (training will be provided if necessary)
• Providing the best advice on which hearing systems may be most suitable for patient's hearing loss and lifestyle requirements
• Programming these hearing aids and completing a rehabilitation process with the patient through a series of follow up appointments
• Managing hearing clinics, diary management and liaising with suppliers regarding products and technology requirements and stock
