We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and caring Activities Coordinator to join our clients team and help create a positive, engaging, and stimulating environment for their residents. You will need to be flexible to work 4 days from 7, 9am
-5pm (this may change if night time activities/ entertainment are booked). Additionally we need you to have a full UK Driving license as you will be required to take residents out and about in company transport provided.
As an Activity Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing the well‑being of our residents by designing and delivering a wide range of activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional health. Your creativity, energy, and passion for helping others will help ensure that our residents have a fulfilling and enjoyable experience every day.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organise, and deliver a variety of activities that are tailored to the individual needs, interests, and abilities of our residents.
- Encourage and support residents to engage in activities, ensuring their participation and well‑being.
- Maintain accurate records of residents' activity preferences and involvement.
- Work closely with the care team to identify residents' needs and incorporate their personal interests into the activity schedule.
- Foster an inclusive and vibrant atmosphere where all residents feel valued and respected.
- Organise special events, outings, and themed days to bring joy and excitement to our residents.
- Promote social interaction and help residents build meaningful connections with others.
- Must have held a UK driving licence for 2 years as you will be required to use the mini‑bus to take residents out and about.
- Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable but not essential.
- A genuine passion for working with the people with various support requirements, and creating a positive environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative, organised, and able to work independently.
- Ability to adapt and think on your feet in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
- A level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or an activity‑based qualification would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Flexible, Permanent, Full‑Time, 40 Hours Per Week, 7 Day Rota
- £12.36 per hour
