A care home on the outskirts of Ayr in Maybole is currently recruiting an experienced Care Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Details of this Care Assistant vacancy:

Permanent contract working 22-44 hours per week
Day or night shifts available
12-hour shifts:
Day shifts: 8am-8pm
Night shifts: 8pm-8am
Competitive pay of £13.45 per hour
Potential to earn up to £30,773.60 per annum

As a Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to service users, helping them maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life. You will also work closely with the Home Manager, Deputy Manager, and Senior Carers to support the smooth running of the service.

What we are looking for in a Care Assistant:

A caring, compassionate and empathetic nature
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, trustworthy and committed to providing high-quality support
Previous experience working in a care or support setting is preferred
A Care Certificate/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care would be advantageous but is not essential
A genuine desire to support and make a positive difference to people's lives
Full eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship or visa switch available)
If you haven't worked specifically as a Support Worker but have experience in care and are eager to learn, we would still encourage you to apply
