Role Overview
A role is available for both experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses seeking a new direction and newly qualified nurses ready to start their careers. This position provides an opportunity to become part of a supportive and forward‑thinking team in Ayr, where nurses are highly valued and encouraged to develop and succeed.
The clinics foster a culture built on respect, collaboration, and continuous professional growth. Support is provided by a Clinical Nurse Manager and an RVN owner who brings valuable insight into the nursing role and actively champions its importance.
ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be responsible for running consultations, overseeing anaesthesia, and delivering high‑quality inpatient care. Nurses are fundamental to the delivery of patient care within the organisation, and there is a strong emphasis on enabling nurses to take ownership of their responsibilities.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will be either newly qualified or experienced as an RVN, with a genuine enthusiasm for nursing, a positive and proactive mindset, and a commitment to delivering excellent clinical care and client service. A collaborative approach and willingness to engage with the wider team are essential.
BenefitsIn return, the position offers a salary of up to £32,000, dependent on experience, along with flexible working arrangements that can accommodate both full‑time and part‑time hours. The rota includes one in four Saturdays with no out‑of‑hours duties.
