Kitchen Assistant

We are currently looking to hire an enthusiastic full-time Kitchen Assistant who can help provide the meals service at our Clients Care Home in Ayr!

We have a 40 hour per week full-time position. This role requires a flexible approach to work and the desire to deliver the highest possible standard within the role. Previous experience is preferred but full training will be given.

• Help prepare meals under the direction of the Chef
• Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are hygienically clean and organised
• Help with the storage and stock rotation of food items
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
• Comply with infection control policies and procedures and follow appropriate hand hygiene measures

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
• Understanding of food hygiene practices is a plus

Up to £25,396.80 per year (plus available overtime).

• Flexible, permanent, full-time & part-time shifts, 40 hours per week
• Excellent rate of pay £12.21 per hour
