We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join our team. This role requires hands‑on experience operating a LeBlond manual lathe and machining large components ranging from 48" to 60" in size
. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, safety‑conscious, and capable of producing high‑quality work while maintaining efficiency.

1st or 2nd, both are available. You can pick.

• Set up and operate LeBlond manual lathe to machine large parts (48"-60")
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Perform measurements and inspections using precision measuring tools
• Select appropriate tooling and calculate speeds/feeds
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

• Proven experience operating manual lathes (LeBlond preferred)
• Experience machining large parts/components
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Additional manual machining experience (mills, grinders, etc.)
• Shop math knowledge and understanding of tolerances
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or repair environment

• Ability to lift, move, or position heavy materials with assistance/equipment
• Standing for extended periods
• Working in a shop environment

$30.00 per hour
