Resource Management Business Planning, Senior Specialist
Join the Clean Energy Revolution and become a Resource Management Business Planning, Senior Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE). In this role you will focus on forecasting and supporting the workforce planning portfolio within the call center, performing risk assessments, and conducting performance and trend analysis. You will provide project support, develop and analyze strategic plans to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Responsibilities- Participate in capacity planning activities to assess future resource demands and analyze historical data and growth projections to anticipate resource needs.
- Assist in resolving conflicts related to resource allocation and negotiate compromises to find equitable solutions.
- Analyze resource utilization data to identify patterns and inefficiencies.
- Identify and manage risks related to resource availability and allocation; develop contingency plans to address potential constraints.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather resource requirements and provide updates on resource allocation; engage stakeholders in resource planning discussions and communicate decisions.
- Five or more years of experience performing resource management and/or business planning.
- Three or more years of experience with strategic resource allocation and optimization.
- Two or more years of experience collaborating with stakeholders and developing resource plans.
- Two or more years of experience monitoring and tracking resource utilization.
- Three or more years of experience analyzing resource utilization data for improvements and recommendations.
- Two or more years of experience identifying and managing resource-related risks.
- Three or more years of experience and advanced use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access database, Power BI, and/or any workforce-related software.
- This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Work mode can be changed based on business needs.
