About the Company:

D.W. Mack Co., Inc. is a family-owned business operating since 1969. We specialize in Tool & Die stamping, with in-house Die making, EDM, CNC milling, and CNC lathe capabilities. Most of our work is with the aerospace industry. We are AS9100D certified.

Position:

Full-time Junior Quality Inspector

Schedule:

Alternative Workweek Schedule - Hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor or machine operator.
• Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs.
• Maintain measurement equipment by following operating instructions and calibration requirements, and calling for repairs when needed.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Support production and other internal departments as a team member of the Quality department to further the company's interests.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in quality control or related fields
• Strong attention to detail
• Analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer and math skills for calibration and measurement
• Blueprint reading skills
• Ability to use measuring devices such as gauges, meters, and calipers
• Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus
• Conversational Spanish is a plus
