This position is located in Azusa, CA supporting manufacturing for cable assembly line, machine shop, and integration.

• Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements.
• Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.
• Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements.
• Coordinates inter-departmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.

• Complete understanding and application of production control principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
• Full knowledge of industry practices.
• May refer to established precedents and policies.
• Plan schedules and arrange activities in accomplishing objectives.
• Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long‑range goals of the organization.
• Interacts with senior internal personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between functional departments.

• A bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant work experience in operations planning and production scheduling or 8‑12 years (in lieu of degree) of relevant work experience in operations planning and production scheduling.
• Experience in MS Office applications.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience planning in an ERP system and familiar with the MRP process.
• Must be a US citizen.

• Active DoD security clearance.
• CPIM—Certified in Planning and Inventory Management.
• Supply Chain experience.
• Manufacturing/Production line experience.

Primary Level Salary Range: $82,900.00 – $
