Role Overview
As a Process Engineering Manager you will play a key role within the Engineering and Operations organization and a multidisciplinary project team. Your focus will be on defining, optimizing and implementing process solutions for new production lines, ensuring efficiency, quality and full compliance with company and industry standards.

Responsibilities

Lead process‑related activities within project teams.

Drive process design, development and optimisation for new production lines.

Manage process‑related project scope, timelines and deliverables.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Quality, Safety, Engineering, Procurement).

Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations and local legislation.

Define process parameters, workflows and performance metrics.

Support equipment selection and ensure proper process integration.

Oversee installation, commissioning, validation and start‑up activities.

Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Drive continuous improvement and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or related fields).

Minimum 6–10 years of experience in process engineering within manufacturing or industrial environments.

Proven experience in capital projects from design through implementation and start‑up phases.

Strong knowledge of production processes, process optimisation and industrial equipment.

Experience in FMCG, food, pharmaceutical or similar industries is an advantage.

Experience with aseptic and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing processes is highly desirable.

Experience with powder processing technologies (handling, dosing, mixing, conveying, packaging) is a strong advantage.

Familiarity with hygienic design principles, cleanroom requirements and contamination control.

Solid understanding of utilities and their integration into production processes.

Knowledge of safety, health and environmental (SHE) standards and regulations.

Financial awareness with experience in budget tracking, cost control and basic finance principles.

Experience working with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers/contractors.

Familiarity with SAP and project management tools is a plus.

Strong analytical, structured and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities within complex projects.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.

Fluent in English (written and spoken).
