Position: Sales Customer Support Specialist (m/f/d), (80-100%)

Role:
Order Processing in Accelleron’s High Speed Division – Baden, Switzerland.

Reporting

Reports to the Head of Order Processing & Commercial Management.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact, ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience throughout the entire order-to-cash process.
  • Import monthly evaluated customer forecasts into the SAP system to align production and logistics with customer needs.
  • Enter every customer order accurately and completely into SAP, ensuring technical and commercial correctness.
  • Collaborate closely with the logistics team to guarantee on-time delivery of customer orders.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and proactively follow up to ensure smooth and timely fulfillment.
  • Maintain and regularly update customer platforms, keeping digital touchpoints clean, current, and reliable.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams through clear, reliable, and friendly communication.
  • Handle customer complaints and carrier claims with care and professionalism, aiming for fair and timely resolution.
  • Keep customers informed about order progress, solve problems before they exacerbate, and support them at every step.
  • Coordinate transport orders with forwarders via EDI and maintain regular contact with forwarder points of contact to keep deliveries moving smoothly.
  • Prepare all necessary customs and shipping documents, ensuring compliance and a seamless export process.
  • Use project‑management skills to analyze data, identify ways to improve service and efficiency, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Track outstanding customer payments and work toward timely resolution while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Background
  • Commercial or technical apprenticeship with a bachelor’s degree in economics or a related field (Sales, Order Management, Project Management) is preferred.
  • Several years of professional experience.
  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory; other languages are an advantage.
  • Experience in order processing with SAP R/3 SD Module and preferably S/4

    HANA.
  • Interest in technology, particularly in turbochargers.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities for long and short‑term orders/projects.
  • Results‑oriented with a demonstrated ability to apply problem‑solving skills in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong cross‑functional coordination skills and good interpersonal communication skills; teamwork spirit required.
  • Self‑motivated personality.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is preferable.
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI Reports is preferable.
