As a Senior Tendering Specialist, you will have many interfaces and interesting tasks on international projects, in the field of substation automation, protection and control. You will complete bid submissions together with technical tendering specialists, support functions and drive Management approvals. Join our great international team and participate in our successes.
How you’ll make an impact
Lead commercially large and complex tenders to completion in the field of Substation Automation Systems, Control and Protection, within Hub Europe
Act as a coordinator with different stakeholders to evaluate all costs and risks of the tender together with the technical tendering team and the support functions such as legal, supply chain, tax, trade compliance, treasury, finance control
Prepare complex commercial tendering documentation and cost calculations including financial consolidations, cash flows, in a timely and efficient manner with high quality standards
Challenge the tender's information, evaluate best project setup, scope of delivery, suitable terms and conditions for the company and support our Sales Managers up to contract negotiations
Work closely with the Technical Bid Managers for all technical matters
Support growth initiative and continuous improvement, conduct lessons learned reviews to drive efficiency and quality
Provide regular feedback and productivity insights to Management
Your background
At least 5 - 8 years’ experience in Sales support, Tender Management or Project Management of inter-national/export projects ideally in substation automation, control and protection or in the field of High Voltage substation’s projects, ideally for an international OEM Company
Bachelor or Master degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
General understanding of the commercial aspects of a tender (Legal, Tax, Credit, Risk Management, Export Control, ….)
Understanding of site workers assignments during international project, with secondment or payroll transfer a plus.
Process-oriented profile with strategic mindset and ability to handle risk management
A proactive and structured approach to your work, with a strong sense of responsibility
Ability to work in multi-cultural and virtual teams, delivering results and interacting with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Extended communication skills in English, additional language like German, French or Spanish a plus
