Working within the technology department, you will work closely with development engineers to prepare new component designs for prototype testing and production. You will also participate in design reviews and implement feedback from testing and product teams to continually improve designed components and associated processes. Within the technology department, you will also support the generation of geometry for investigating new components in numerical simulations.
YourResponsibilities
- Technical Contribution:
Design turbo machinery components, including drawings, according to specification and standard processes. Contributes to design reviews and design verification, modifies design as necessary. - Documentation:
Create precise documentation for the correct implementation of components by product divisions. - Planning & Control:
Follow work plans for work in one’s area of responsibility and ensures quality deliverables on time. - Technical Coordination & Knowledge Sharing:
Facilitate communication with various internal teams pertaining to specific project design assignments or meetings. - Processes and Tools:
Uses standard processes and tools, assists in developing new processes and tools for technical solutions.
- Completed apprenticeship or degree in Construction/Design Engineering, or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of practical experience in mechanical design.
- Some experience creating technical documentation.
- Familiarity with the design and layout process of thermal turbo machinery components is a plus.
- Exposure to macro programming or creating parametric CAD models is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP).
- Proactive, responsible, and detail‑oriented personality.
- Good time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Fluent in German and English.
