Support the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of Procurement & Logistics (P&L) approved activities. Analyze, propose, and implement local P&L actions. Benchmark category using data analysis to support developing, planning, and implementing P&L strategy focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products for assigned group of categories. Ensure execution in accordance with Company, P&L, and Supply Base Management instructions and procedures
What will you do?Sourcing Strategy:
- Contributes to definition, implementation, and execution of spend management and sourcing strategies for direct materials and services locally and globally for tender and execution projects.
- Supports annual targets with HUB P&L Manager for cost reduction, supplier quality, and performance (OTD and OQD). Monitors KPIs and promotes continuous improvement.
- Drives best practice negotiations with key suppliers. Manages strategic supplier activities and vendor development including the ordering and follow-up.
- Responsible for contract management and negotiation; assesses markets and implements targets, standards and processes to ensure quality, delivery and sustainability.
- Ensures health, safety, environmental, and ethical standards in operations and negotiations.
- Delivers and participates in training for compliance and development.
- Maintains effective communication internally and externally.
- Standardizes processes and implements routines per Group directives. Market Knowledge:
- Shares insights on market trends and competitor activities.
- Manages risks and opportunities with supply chain partners.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Procurement & Logistics for Substation T&D Projects and/or Transportation Electrification Projects (e.g., Metro/Monorail).
- Extensive knowledge of procurement for major items and services such as Transformers, Battery, Charger, UPS, Third Rail & Stringer system, Substation HV-Equipment, Aluminum tube, conductor, HVAC, etc., with deep product and supply base knowledge
Required:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a suitable technical/commercial discipline.
- Native-level German
- Fluent English (negotiation level)
