Overview
At Hitachi Energy Research, we closely collaborate with business areas to develop foundations for the next generation of Power Grids products. Located near Zurich, the research center employs more than 60 scientists from around the world with cross‑disciplinary expertise. In the Systems Integration and Physics Team we address the challenges and opportunities in enhancing grid flexibility and facilitating renewable energy proliferation.
A key focus of our work is multi‑physics modeling for power electronic systems, which plays a critical role in fast‑growing applications such as electric vehicle charging, energy storage and renewables like wind and solar. In this context, we are offering a 6‑month internship position that provides the opportunity to work on real‑world projects in an international team of research scientists.
