As a global leader in the Gas Power market, we are seeking a Senior Civil Technology Specialist to act as the technical expert for the Civil Technology department, supporting the Global Leader Civil Engineering. In this senior professional role, you will take extended technical ownership of civil engineering standards, design requirements documents (DRDs), and system application guidelines, while also ensuring successful integration of world-class turbine and generator technology into complex site infrastructure on assigned projects.

You will act as the final technical reference point on complex or high-risk civil design questions, providing expert guidance to Civil Technology Specialists, project teams, and external design subcontractors — without direct management responsibility for staff. This position offers a dynamic, senior-level environment with international travel to project sites and department-wide technical influence.

You will work within a Global Team, on worldwide located projects.

En tant que leader mondial du marché des turbines à gaz (Gas Power), nous recherchons un (e) Spécialiste senior en technologie du génie civil pour agir en tant qu'expert technique au sein du département « Civil Technology », en soutien au Responsable mondial du génie civil. Dans ce rôle de haut niveau, vous assumerez la responsabilité technique globale des normes de génie civil, des documents d'exigences de conception (DRD) et des directives d'application des systèmes, tout en garantissant l'intégration réussie de technologies de pointe (turbines et générateurs) au sein d'infrastructures de site complexes pour les projets qui vous seront confiés.

Vous servirez de référence technique ultime pour les questions complexes ou à haut risque liées à la conception en génie civil, en apportant une expertise aux spécialistes du domaine, aux équipes de projet et aux sous-traitants externes chargés de la conception, sans toutefois exercer de responsabilité hiérarchique directe sur le personnel. Ce poste offre un environnement dynamique de haut niveau, impliquant des déplacements internationaux sur les sites de projets ainsi qu'une influence technique à l'échelle du département.

Vous intégrerez une équipe mondiale et travaillerez sur des projets situés aux quatre coins du monde.

• Serve as the department's technical expert for Civil Technology standards, resolving complex or ambiguous technical questions escalated by Civil Technology Specialists, Civil Engineers, and project teams.
• Create, maintain, and drive global implementation of Standard Specification templates, System Application Guidelines, and Design Requirements Documents (DRDs) for power train foundation, anchoring, and embedment scope.
• Provide expert technical review and final validation of complex or high-risk civil design packages prepared by external partners, ensuring compliance with global standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support and help shape Civil Technology subcontracting providing technical (not contractual) governance to ensure cost-effective, timely, and high-quality civil design globally.
• Support qualification and technical evaluation of Civil specialty subcontractors (Geotechnical, Civil A/E, Machine Foundation Design, Marine Coastal and River, Special Studies) — partnering with the Global Leader Civil Engineering on final selection decisions.
• Participate in Engineering Risk Review Meetings (ERRM) as senior technical representative.
