What you will do- Collaborate with front teams to co‑develop commercial strategies for rolling out new P&L‑driven financing products maximizing reward vs risk.
- Lead the setup of new Structured Trade Finance (STF) facilities driving internal business cases with trading teams and management.
- Act as the primary contact between internal and external stakeholders during all transaction phases including market engagement, term‑sheet selection, documentation, negotiation and implementation.
- Source structured fund and sell structured financial deals to banks while distributing risk within the banking or insurance market.
- Maintain and develop existing liquidity‑driven STF initiatives such as prepayment repos and commodity derivatives with embedded financing to ensure optimal economic risk and accounting outcomes.
- Build and nurture relationships with international trade finance banks, insurance companies, brokers, internal commercial desks and support functions.
- Support ad hoc trade finance matters as required for the broader team.
- A top university degree or business school qualification in Finance or Law.
- Proven experience in structured commodity finance gained at a leading commodity trading house or commodity bank.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
- Entrepreneurial mindset capable of selling new concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized, rigorous and an excellent communicator.
- A team player with an active risk‑management mindset.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian, French, German or other European languages is a strong advantage.
