Role Overview
As an FP&A Expert for the Group you will drive actual and forward‑looking analytics, leverage data‑visualisation tools, and automate reporting. You will act as a business partner to the Division finance teams and influence senior leadership decisions. Reporting to the Head of Group Controlling.
Your Responsibilities- Act as a business partner to senior leadership, CEO, CFO and Division Controllers
- Define and implement the Group standard FP&A processes, cadence, agendas, etc.
- Contribute, coordinate and progressively lead FP&A tasks such as business plan preparation, initiative tracking, and performance analysis and accountability reporting
- Provide supervision, coordination and/or facilitation in the execution of regular and special tasks in FP&A analytical practice
- Analyse current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
- Generate insights into cost drivers and user metrics; identify risks and opportunities with actionable recommendations
- Understand and analyse trends, working with Management to model the impact on financial performance versus plan and forecast
- Monitor performance indicators, highlight trends and analyse causes of unexpected variance on the Group level
- Analyse financial information to provide timely recommendations to management for optimal decision making
- Benchmark key performance indicators with external and internal peers
- Develop tools to predict forward‑looking scenarios together with Division controllers to support dynamic forecasts and long‑term plans
- Drive improved estimating and forecasting accuracy using statistical techniques
- Prepare ad‑hoc financial modelling and other business projects as required
- Support the implementation of standardised processes and tools in financial planning activities
- Identify areas for improvement and propose corrective actions and cost‑saving initiatives
- Aide initiatives to achieve excellence in financial control and process improvement
- Facilitate the dissemination of knowledge and best practices within the Finance community
- Organise and deliver training on various tools and processes
- Develop, revise, and enforce business policies and procedures as needed
- Manage and improve monthly functional cost and segment reporting
Education and Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, preferably supported by a relevant professional certification (e.g., CIMA, CPA, etc.)
- Experience in Accounting, Finance and FP&A preferable
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, thorough / detail‑oriented approach and strong communication skills
- Handle large volumes of data and apply statistical tools and models; conduct research to detect trends and isolate essential information for sound decision making
- Provide recommendations to support long‑ and short‑term business strategies
- Self‑motivated with a strong commitment to quality
- Excellent organisational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment and within tight deadlines; collaborative and team‑oriented personality with ability to drive change and foster cooperation
- Experienced in tool and process implementation
- Understanding of data structure with ability to leverage AI tools to automate processes
