Designs, implements, maintains, enhances, tests, and supports software.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing the real‑time control systems that power state‑of‑the‑art radiotherapy machines. Your work will help ensure that life‑saving treatments are delivered with the highest level of safety, accuracy, and reliability.

• Develop embedded real‑time application software for advanced radiotherapy machine control systems.
• Design and implement verification and test applications for drive trains, robotics, and motion control components.
• Execute the full engineering lifecycle—including analysis, planning, design, implementation, integration, verification, and documentation.
• Enhance domain‑specific and service applications supporting motion‑control subsystems.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary experts, contributing to innovative solutions in a highly technical medical environment.

• A degree from FH / ETH / University in Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• Solid experience developing real‑time, object‑oriented applications—preferably in industrial or medical environments.
• Strong proficiency in C++, including object‑oriented techniques (UML, design patterns) and real‑time operating systems/kernels.
• Ability to re‑engineer and refactor complex, existing codebases to integrate new features efficiently.
• A pragmatic, solution‑oriented mindset—you're a self‑starter who gets things done.
• Commitment to quality assurance, delivering safe, reliable, and robust software.
• Familiarity with CASE tools and C#/NET is a plus.
• Excellent German and English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Motivation to build deep expertise in radiation therapy and motion control, and enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary team.
