As a Retail Assistant, you will be the face of the surf retail store at Bahrain Surf Park, delivering exceptional guest service, driving daily sales, and supporting overall store operations. Reporting directly to the Retail Manager, you will assist in stock handling, store presentation, visual merchandising, and point-of-sale operations.

You play an essential role in creating a vibrant, customer-centric retail environment that complements the park’s overall attraction experience. By offering helpfulproduct advice, maintaining store aesthetics, and maintaining high service standards, you will help foster surf and beach culture among our guests.

• Service Excellence: Greet every guest with positive energy, delivering acustomer-centric and welcoming store environment.
• Sales Drive: Assist in achieving daily and monthly store sales targets by proactively engaging guests, recommending products, and upsellingapparel and gear.
• Product Knowledge: Provide accurate information on surf apparel, hardware,accessories, and park merchandise.
• Guest Inquiries & Escalations: Address guest queries prompt and professionally, escalating complex issues or feedback to the Retail Manager when necessary.

• Checkout Operations: Efficiently operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, accurately processing cash, card, and digital transactions.
• Cash Handling & Reporting: Assist with daily register opening/closing, cash-ups, balancing,and daily reporting to management.
• Store Upkeep: Keep the cash wrap, sales floor, fitting rooms, and storage areas clean, organized, and clear of safety hazards.
• Stock Management: Assist with receiving, unboxing, auditing, tagging, andsensor-attaching incoming product shipments.
• Visual Merchandising: Maintain high visual standards by ensuring store displays, racks,and shelves are neatly folded, organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing.
• Inventory Audits: Participate in regular stock takes, cycle counts, and inventory audits to maintain stock accuracy.
• Stock Monitoring: Monitor inventory levels on the floor and notify the Retail Manager of fast-selling items, low stock, or damaged goods.
• Safety & Security: Follow loss-prevention guidelines and maintain vigilance on thesales floor to minimize shrinkage and ensure guest safety.
• Team Engagement: Support store initiatives, promotional campaigns, and park eventsto drive guest engagement.

  Work collaboratively with Guest Services, Surf Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure a cohesive guest experience.

ü Fluentin English;
Arabic speaker is a strong plus.

ü Minimum1–2 years’ retail sales or customer service experience (experience in surfshops, active wear, lifestyle retail, or high-volume leisure environments preferred).

ü Demonstrated experience with POS payment terminals and basic cash handling.

ü Knowledge of or personal interest in surfing, water sports, and beach apparel isappreciated.
