The Assistant Operations Manager supports the Head of Surf Operations and team across a range of functions, including administration, stock monitoring, coordination, andday-to-day operations.

This position helps ensure thesmooth running of surf-related activities by assisting with teamorganization, communication between departments, and operational logistics.

The role involves close collaboration with surf instructors, lifeguards, and other operational teamsto maintain high standards of safety, service quality, and guest satisfaction.

• Support the Head of Operation sin the preparation and coordination ofdailymissions
• Assistwithteam recruitment, training, scheduling, and day-to-day Surf Academy team management
• Overseethe surf equipment inventory, including surfboards, wetsuits, and accessories;monitor stock levels, repairs, and deliveries
• Assistwithprocurementandlogisticsfor surf gear, uniforms, and neoprene equipment,ensuring materials are always in good condition
• Supervise and support thesurfteam in the proper use, maintenance, and organization of surf equipment.
• Facilitate communication between
  
  Instructors, Lifeguards, and other departments to ensure smooth coordination
• Monitorsurfsessionsand Surf Academy, ensuring that operational procedures are followed
• Provide administrative support, including tracking bookings, team schedules,budgets, and performance metrics
• Assistwithguest service and operational issue resolution ina timelyandeffective manner
• Help organize and support special surf-related activities such as surf camps,demo days, events, and educational programs
• Provide excellent guest service and respond to guest issues inatimelyand professional manner
• Training or experience in business administration, operations management, or hospitality is an asset
• Experienceinsurfoperationsis a plus
• Experience ina surf school, resort or leisure facility is a strong asset
• Knowledge ofsurfingandsurfequipmentis appreciated

• Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail
• Proficiencyinoffice software, documentation, and basic data management
• Strong time management and ability to follow through on tasks
• Capable ofworking under pressure and adapting to dynamic environments

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; approachable and professionaldemeanour
• Proactive mindset with problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
