CNC Miller - Nights OR Weekends

Due to an increase in workload and continued company growth we are recruiting a number of CNC Millers to join our client on a permanent basis near Shipley .

The company are increasing capacity by expanding their weekend and night shifts.

Successful candidates will ideally be time served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and specification.

Candidates will be required to set and operate 3 + 5 axis CNC Millers utilising Fanuc/ Siemens / Heidenhain controls therefore experience with 1 or more of these Systems is a must.

Shifts available :

Nights - Mon Thursday (40 hours)

Weekends Fri Sunday (36 hours)

Flexible start/finish times available:

Weekends - Start between 5:30am to 8:30am and finish between 5:30pm and 8:30pm

Nights Start between 5:30pm 8:30pm and finishing between 4:30am 7:30am

The Ideal candidates will have :

• Setting and operating CNC Millers using proven programs and tooling.
• Fanuc/ Siemens controls experience
• Running multiple machines and working with multiple materials.
• Performing in process inspection using hand measuring equipment and CMM.
• Maintaining the machine on a daily basis including coolant conditioning to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Keeping the working area clean, tidy and organised.
• Training/ mentoring of new apprentices and new starters

Candidate Skills

• Time-served with demonstrable experience operating a CNC Miller working to very tight tolerances.
• Experience using Fanuc/ Siemens controls to set and operate the machine
• Will have experience working on a range of materials including Stainless, Aluminium / Titanium
