A well-established freight forwarding and logistics provider is seeking a commercially focused Pricing & Internal Sales Coordinator to join its branch-based commercial team. This role plays a key part in supporting profitability by delivering accurate, competitive pricing and providing high-quality support to both customers and the external sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer and sales enquiries via phone and email
- Prepare accurate and competitive freight quotations for customers and external sales
- Calculate rates across import and export shipments (air & sea)
- Maintain and manage pricing and rate inboxes
- Work with carrier and agent rate sheets to ensure current pricing
- Price bookings and support commercial decision-making
- Manage invoice and pricing disputes efficiently and professionally
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, carriers, and agents
- Support branch profitability by maximising profit per job while remaining commercially competitive
- Collaborate closely with operations and sales teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a commercial, pricing, or internal sales role within freight forwarding or logistics
- Experience with import/export freight forwarding
- Exposure to air and/or sea freight pricing
