¿ s Department of English and Communication is home to an interdisciplinary group of scholars who work together to offer courses in support of our USG-approved Core Curriculum and the Writing and Communication B.S. degree. We seek qualified adjunct faculty to teach core courses in English and Communication. Part-time, temporary, adjunct faculty may instruct one or two courses a semester on an as-needed basis.

Possible courses include Composition I and II, Learning Support English, Human Communication, and Public Speaking. These courses may be offered in a traditional face-to-face format or online depending upon the need. The Department of English and Communication offers courses both at ABAC
¿ s main site in Tifton and at the instructional site in Bainbridge. Applicants interested in teaching at either site are welcome to apply.

Required Qualifications

Master
¿ s degree with a minimum of 18 credits of graduate coursework in either English (to teach Composition I and II and Learning Support English) or Communication (to teach Human Communication and Public Speaking).



Preferred Qualifications

Evidence of successful teaching of college-level English or Communication courses preferred.
