Cooper’s Plumbing & Air is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to support recruiting, employee onboarding, HR administration, and professional development.

- Coordinate recruiting activities, interviews, and candidate communications.
- Maintain accurate applicant records and recruiting databases.
- Partner with hiring managers to support staffing needs.
- Organize and participate in job fairs and recruiting events.
- Track recruiting performance and provide regular reports.
- Coordinate new-hire onboarding and employee offboarding.
- Maintain organized employee records and HR documentation.
- Support daily HR processes and employee communications.
- Help improve internal procedures and employee experiences.
- Coordinate employee training schedules, calendars, and resources.
- Maintain training records and track career development progress.
- Collaborate with internal trainers and external training providers.
- Manage training materials and support the Trainual platform.
- Assist with employee development programs and learning opportunities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable using technology, databases, and tracking systems.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive.
- Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Previous recruiting or HR experience.
- Experience coordinating hiring events or employee training.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or Trainual.
- Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
