Maintenance Technician II

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team. In this role, you will independently perform complex electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant equipment, systems, and machinery panels. You will troubleshoot issues, complete repairs, and ensure our operations run smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

* Troubleshoot, repair, and perform advanced electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant equipment and systems.

* Conduct routine preventive maintenance using hand and power tools.

* Fabricate necessary parts as needed.

* Assist with general building maintenance and repair activities.

* Ensure compliance with food safety standards, including GMP, allergen controls, HACCP/FSMA, SQF, and regulatory requirements.

* Maintain and document preventive controls to guarantee food safety and quality.

* Report any food safety or quality issues immediately to management.

* Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and support cross-functional initiatives.

* Commit to ongoing technical, functional, and professional development.

* Follow all workplace safety policies and actively support a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

* Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

* Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

* Technical Knowledge:

* Advanced understanding of electrical components and wiring.

* Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480v.

* Skills:

* Advanced mechanical and troubleshooting skills.

* Ability to work at extended heights and on elevated platforms.
