Territory Manager - Bainbridge, GA
Reynolds American Inc. – a member of the British American Tobacco Group – is looking for a self‑starter who thrives on initiative and driving results. This role focuses on growing our brands in the Bainbridge, GA territory by building lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve commercial sales and growth objectives within the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute a local strategy and business plan to meet territory objectives.
- Plan product and POS material placements to optimize sales and market visibility.
- Maintain customer/consumer engagement skills certification.
- Build client willingness and capability to collaborate on business fundamentals and industry transformation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local chains, distributors, and retailers through correspondence, visits, and presentations.
- Execute the 5
Ps of presence, pricing, promotion, product, and personal selling to customers. - Analyze territory to identify and negotiate contracts with new retail opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Division Manager on territory‑specific planning and product initiatives.
- Effective communication and influencing with retail customers.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and marketing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Admirable analytical and project management skills.
- Good business judgment, leadership, and self‑motivation.
- Persistence, resilience, and results orientation.
- Conflict management and problem‑solving for mutual benefit.
- Strategic and financial acumen to drive growth.
- Frequent travel and ability to drive up to 200 miles per day.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., climb or work from heights 9–12 feet, and access confined spaces.
- Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to continuous personal and professional growth.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Marketing‑focused experience, preferably in sales or field marketing.
- Demonstrated success as a sales representative/territory manager.
- Geographic mobility across the United States for career advancement.
- Annual Salary: $68,700
- Bonus Target: 20%
